TR Settlement
- Provides details about the class action lawsuit entitled Sonia Hofmann v. True Religion Apparel, et al., which is pending in the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego
The TR class action lawsuit revolves around the statement ““Made in USA”… class members contend that True Religion misrepresented the country of origin in which some of their clothes were made. Class members go on to describe how these “Made In America” jeans actually had buttons, thread, fabric, rivets, and zippers that were NOT made in the USA.
TR Lawsuit Notes
- Class members are considered anyone who purchase a piece of clothing from True Religion with the words “Made In America” on it between Dec. 10, 2010 to July 31, 2015
- True Religion states they are no in the wrong as they did not knowingly or intentionally knew that the jeans had foreign products
- The settlement was approved on July 31, 2015
- John H. Donboli from the DEL MAR LAW GROUP will represent all class members
- ONLY RESIDENTS IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA CAN FILE CLAIMS
- Class members who file claims may receive a True Religion T-shirt ($25 value according to the settlement terms)
- The T-Shirts are limited and will be based on a first in first out basis (the earlier a claim is filed the better)
