The TD Bank Go Card can be used anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted (which is just about everywhere) and is perfect for parents to monitor their teen’s spending limits while in high school or away at college. Account holders can load funds, check recent purchases, and check the card balance at anytime online once the account has been registered. A TD Go Reloadable Prepaid Visa Card holder can set up email and text alerts online to help protect against fraud OR let parents know when their kids are close reaching their spending limits. The card is just like carrying cash and the account holder can access their account 24/7 online (even on Christmas).
TD Go Reloadable Prepaid Visa Card Notes
- The card comes with a load fee of $1.00 and an inactivity fee of $2.50
- The inactivity fee will be charged after 12 months of not using the TD Bank TD Go Card
- There is no fee for using the card when making purchases online or at a retailer
- When loading the card for the first time the customer must load the TD Bank Go Card with a minimum of $20
- The account holder must be 18 years of age or older
- The most an account can hold is $2000
- Due to security risks the TD Go Card may be restricted in certain countries (i.e. Syria)
Any questions about the card can be directed to a TD Bank customer care agent at 1-855-219-8050. Once the card has been ordered online customer should allow up to 7 days to arrive via US Mail. A credit check is not required and any purchases made using the TD Bank TD Go Card will NOT harm or help their credit score.
