Rite Aid Records Charge Settlement
The Rite Aid Pharmacy Records Class Action Lawsuit revolves around claim that Rite Aid gouged customers (aka made them over pay) for personal pharmacy records. Anthony Lasseter and Amber Osborne are the lead plaintiffs and claim they were charged $50 for a one-page documents (Lasseter) and $85 for a single-page pharmacy record document (Osborne). Rite Aid Records Charge Settlement class members complain that these amounts are no where close to rational for how much time and effort Rite Aid takes when processing a request for records PLUS class members contend that there are law regarding the amount that pharmacies and healthcare providers can charged patients for their own records.
Please note…
Class members in the case are defined as anyone who paid a $85 or $50 records flat rate fee to Right Aid Pharmacy anytime after Jan. 1, 2005. Please DO NOT contact Rite Aid with questions about the lawsuit but rather dial 888-985-9384 and speak to a Lasseter v. Rite-Aid Corporation Claims Administrator representative. Settlement rewards will come in the form of a $15 Rite Aid gift and a $25 Rite Aid gift card for each ($15 for each $50 pharmacy records fee class members paid, and a $25 Rite Aid gift card for each $85 pharmacy records fee paid). The deadline to file a claim in the Rite Aid Records Charge Settlement lawsuit is listed as March 7, 2016.
