Ms Walking Survey
- Ampyra has set up a free online portal for users to learn more about how to manage their Multiple Sclerosis, and how to best use Ampyra
Thanks to a new program from Ampyra, people who are suffering from MS have the chance to get support, get education, and find motivation to help them through their Multiple Sclerosis experience. It’s estimated that more than 400,000 people in the United States alone, and over 2.5 million people worldwide have Multiple Sclerosis, and Ampyra plays an important role in helping those people manage their MS symptoms.
A personal access code will be needed to access the Ampyra portal. This access code can be found on the letter in the Ampyra welcome booklet. People who use Ampyra but didn’t receive a welcome booklet can call 1-888-881-1918 to receive their personal access code.

Once users are logged in with their personal Ampyra access code, they will be able to receive Ampyra updates, find exclusive online support tips on taking Ampyra, a walking assessment survey to share with their doctor, information about upcoming local Multiple Sclerosis support events, and even receive updates by e-mail when it’s time to refill their Ampyra prescription.
Ampyra was approved by the FDA on January 22, 2010, and is manufactured by Acorda Therapeutics, who have their headquarters at 420 Saw Mill River Road, Ardsley, NY United States 10502. Acorda Therapeutics was founded in 1995, and also produces prescription drugs like Zanaflex (which relates to the spinal cord) and Qutenza, which is related to the central nervous system.
