The JCP Order Track service is free and can be used by anyone who made a purchase online with JCPenney.
Please note…
- Customers tracking a order can also opt into email alerts, offers promotions, and mobile offers (although this is not required to track a JCP order status)
- International ordering tracking is available and customers will need the billing number and email address associated with the purchase
JCPenney was founded in 1902 by James Cash Penney, and currently has over 1,000 locations in 49 states, with Hawaii being the only state without a JCPenney location. Today, JCPenney is a mid-range department store, mainly specializing in things like clothing, cosmetics, housewares, and jewelry. JCPenney was also known for having several other stores inside their own retail locations, including JCPenney branded salons, optical centers, photo studios, and jewelry repair shops.
Handbags and shoes are some of JCPenney’s most popular items today, with brands like Liz Claiborne, Clarks, Relic, and Nicole leading the way.
In the 1990s, JCPenney was the largest catalog retailer in America, selling millions of dollars each year through their magazines. JCPenney stopped their catalog business in 2011, mostly due to the fact that shoppers were turning to their website, www.jcpenney.com. Now, JCPenney does millions of dollars in sales each year through their website instead.
