Customers will be asked a few questions about the quality of the products and customers service plus if they would recommend Eastern Mountain Sports to a friend or family member. The survey will consist of about 10 questions and the customer will have the chance to write-up a detail summary of their purchase (good or bad). The EMS survey is powered by Presto Mobile and all survey information will be used for customer service purposes only and EMS will never sell the consumers information to a third-party.

Eastern Mountain Sports (aka EMS for short) was founded in 1967 and is a private firm. The company was founded by avid mountain climbers Alan McDonough (hotel manager by trade) and Roger Furst (downtown lawyer). The first EMS store was opened in Wellesley, Massachusetts and target people in the greater Boston area who had a love for mountain climbing and skiing. Today EMS is owned and operated by Vestis Retail Group LLC and offers rock climbing school (and other schools such as ice climbing, paddle boarding and kayaking) on top of their clothing sales. EMS offers free shipping on all orders over $48 when shopping online and they offers a generous customer rewards program. Customers must be 18 years of age in order to become a members of the EMS store loyalty program and they will earn a $10 Reward for each 200 points earned. In order to stay in good standing reward members must make at least one purchase every 12 months of their reward account with become void.
