  • Customers may receive a $20 pre paid Visa debit card upon sign up
  • Comcast claims users will save 5% vs their local utility

It should be noted that Comcast is not getting into the energy business BUT has partnered with Everyday Energy to provide residents with other energy options besides their local power and gas company.  Energy Rewards is only available to existing Comcast residential customers who subscribe to XFINITY Internet, TV, Voice or Home and any questions about the program can be directed to a customer care agent at 1-800-COMCAST.

Please note…

  • Everyday Energy is owned and operated by Crius Energy, LLC
  • The XFINITY Visa Prepaid Card will be sent via US mail once the customer has confirmed there Energy Rewards membership
  • Please allow up to 6 weeks for the Visa Card to arrive
  • This is a 12 month plan and once the year is almost up customers will receive a renewal notice from Comcast Energy Rewards advising them of their renewal options
  • Members will receive Comcast perks just for enrolling

How exactly does this 5% promotional offer work?

According to the Comcast Energy Rewards FAQ: “During your first year as an Energy Rewards customer, your electric or natural gas supply rate will be based on your applicable Utility Price Index. If the Utility Price Index lowers, your rate will also go down and you will continue to receive the 5% discount (and vise versa if the Utility Price Index increases). This way, you will be guaranteed to receive 5% below the Utility Price Index for the entire first year.”

The Comcast Energy Rewards program can be cancelled at anytime without any additional service or bothersome fees.
