USAA Card Activation Services
Activate your USAA card account online.
Please visit www.usaa.com/activate to begin.
You must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States in order to obtain a USAA card.
Contrary to popular belief you do not have to be a member of the US military to have a USAA credit card or bank account.

- Apply online
- Wait for it to arrive in the mail
- Once it comes via US mail visit the URL www.usaa.com/activate
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- If you are not an account holder you will have to register with a valid email address
Please note it may take up to 10 days to receive the debit card via US mail.
If it has been 10 days or more and you still have not received your USAA Debit Card please dial toll-free 1-800-531-USAA between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm CT.
You can also reach USAA via US Mail at “USAA 9800 Fredericksburg Rd. San Antonio, TX 78288” (please include your account number if you have a specific issue regarding your debit card account).
