- Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of an eligible AmazonSmile purchase to a charitable organization
Amazon Smile is juts like buying regular products on Amazon with the same prices and same services but have the added benefit of giving to charity. Customer can pick from almost one million organizations to support at the Amazon Smile service. Please make sure to look for the “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” when making a purchase.
Please note…
- Before shopping at Amazon the customer will be asked to pre select their charity of choice
- This is an excellent way to give back while making some cool purchases
- Sadly donations made through purchases are not tax deductible by the customer
- If the charity the customer picks suddenly drops out of the Amazon Smile program the customer will have the chance to pick a different organization or Amazon may redistribute the donations as they see fit
