Chase AARP Redeem Reward Points

In order to redeem points the cardholders must have their User ID and Internet access. Any questions about the reward points associated with a Chase AARP account can be directed to a Chase customer care agent at 1-800-283-1211. Points can be redeemed for cash money, travel benefits or gift cards to popular retailers like Amazon or Best Buy (over 75 major retailers are available). When making a request for cash the members must have a minimum of $20 worth of points and the cash will be applied to the cardholders current balance.

What are the % associated with the unlimited cash back rewards? Chase AARP card holders will receive 3% cash back at resturants and gas stations PLUS 1% cash back on all other qualfying purchases (Chase enforces a minimum of 2,000 points needed to redeem for cash back).
How are restaurants defined under the Chase/AARP card program? restaurants are defined as merchants who primary business is sit down eating (bars that make all of their money from beer sales would not be included in this category). Some examples of places that may not qualify under the “restaurant” cash back program include ball parks (Wrigley Field), theme parks (i.e. Six Flags or Disney World), and Casinos (The Wynn, Caesars Palace).
